    Front Line: Care Callers

Mark 10:49 - Jesus stopped and said, "call him." So they called the blind man and said to him, "have courage! Get up; He's calling for you."

We all have times in our lives when we feel a little blind, a little lame in the heart. These times are what family is for! The Newchurch family strives to stay connected and uplift one another in our times of sorrow or need. Our Care Callers are our first line of delivery! They cover our front lines and funnel through love and communication like the good soldiers of God they are. If you can handle being on the front line, contact our Care Pastor, LaShawn - Welcome aboard!

  • Marriage Keepers:

Matthew 19:4-5 - "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh?'"

"I'm going to do what God's Word says whether I feel like it or not, whether it makes sense or not. I'm staking my ground, casting my lot with God and His Word. I choose the pathway of faithfulness because it's right." - Revive Our Hearts with Nancy Leigh DeMoss

The Road Less Traveled, can be tough. The divorce rate within the church often mirrors the dirvorce rate of those who don't know Christ. We are binding together to help one another obtain, maintain and promote healthy marriages. If you are having marital troubles and would like to meet with a mentor for healthy venting, prayer and guidance, just delve into prayer and exercies to maintain your healthy marriage, or would like to offer confidential support, sounding boards and structured guidance; then, Marraige Keepers is the right place! We have mentors and study guides a plenty! Let God reign in your marriage!

    Children's Champions:

Deuteronomy 6:5-9 - Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments tat I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when y ou walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on yor hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write themon the doorfames of your houses and on your gates.

You may think that parents were never given a book of instructions on how to raise their children. But! God gives us all the instruction we need in the Bible! God never intended for us to talk through this journey of parenthood alone. We need to seek help and guidance from each other to raise our children in today's society filled with drugs, sex, pornography and Satan trying to guide them away from what we have taught them about God and His love for us!

If you are feeling overwhelmed, or dealing with a difficult situation with your child, or if you are needing guidance and would like to meet with a mentor, we would love to offer you confidential support! We have mentors for both children and parents, as well as Big Buddies for the children.

If you would like to meet with a mentor, or would like to help within the Children's Champions ministry, contact Lead Pray Warrior Alison or LaShawn

    Widow's "Might":

James 1:27 - Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Romans 12:13 - When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.

What a blessing it is to serve Jesus and to serve you, our church family. The Widow's "Might" Ministry is here to serve the widows of our church. When there is a physical need as small as hanging a picture or as big as moving or yard work. We have handymen available to help meet those needs. We have mentors and prayer warriors ready to help stand in the gap.

If you are in need of our services we would be blessed and love to serve you. Please contact Claudia

If you would like to be a part of our team, please contact LaShawn

    Sound Singles:

I Corinthians 7:7 - For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that.

Hosea 10:12 - Sow for yourself righteousness; and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord.

Paul understood that singleness was a gift from God, just as well as marriage. God has so much for you as a single person. If you are struggling with being single or maybe just a couple of aspects fo being single, our mentors would love to share with you the gifts within singleness that God has given. We'd like to share with you ministry opportunities as well as sound wisdom from Christ! Volunteers for our singles ministry are always welcome! Our singles tend to be busy people, and we are so appreciative of those who have given their time.

"View your time as being single as a blessing, because trust me... it is NOT time spent alone, it's time spent alone with God and if we're honest, we could all use a little more of that. We have a God who has perfect timing. He's not a second too soon or a second late. So if it's God's plan just know that not only will he put that perfect someone into your life, but he'll do it at the perfect time." - Pastor Josh Crouch

    Sizzling Seniors:

Titus 2:1-5 - But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience: the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given too much wine, teachers of good things - that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, ehaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

Our Sizzling Seniors Team is so unique! We have handy-workers who help our Sizzling Seniors with everything from moving to laundry! We have mentors and senior pals who simply love what they do! We love our Sizzling Seniors and are honored to serve them.
